Teacher, the word which signifies more of Rum in today's context rather than the school teachers who use to be around us in every deed of us. They sometimes helped to flourish us and sometimes some of them were behind the heavy reprimand ways to break us before we knew how to get back into life. With much of the life revolving around teachers where being nasty was equivalent to crime and since from a middle-income household background the thoughts were always chained rather than being open but learned to appreciate girls and their thoughts only through some of the best-dressed teachers from the school of dreams Holy Cross, Bokaro Steel City to the much baptist type school where religion was the foremost in terms of Punjabi which was Guru Gobind Singh Public School.
While the first school turned out in giving freedom of thoughts, mind, and action where I, Mukesh Kumar was always in full flow with all the energy oozing out whether while speaking which could be rather called argumentative in Social Studies and English class along with Science class before Mr. Sudhanshu Sinha, Mr. Kali Kumar Ghosh, Mrs. Archana Bhatnagar, and somewhat serious Mrs. Manjit Kaur who was teaching Hindi but certainly none of the words were vulgar as I was known to weigh my words before blurting out and the entire words were behind the superfluous words related to education.
With no "Love story" mode in School where a little bit of mistake with being no touching feeling related to any particular girl in question was told to the Class Teacher Mrs. Archana Bhatnagar that I will never cross any limit as I understand that My father Mr. Upendra Vidyarthi can tear me to pieces where my father was the biggest guarantor in keeping my mind straight without getting into any odd thoughts to come into the Classroom. On the contrary, G.G.P.S which never molds anyone into a good career and producing few IIT's enrolled is not a sign of success as the biggest Technical institute is turning out to be nothing but a place from where people are getting a package of 4 lakhs per annum which is even earned by a Customer Care Executive working in a Call Centre.
Also, if one sees the School without any doubt Holy Cross is turning out to be a better one as it is churning out students into every section of society whether Film industry or into IPS and Civil Services and also some great leaders which are not to be seen from the G.G.P.S which anyways is all about sometimes tying the turban just to make fool to Police, Army and public in general to become a Sardar who is nothing but a way to earn money in many cases through the unpopular rant of 84 Yaad hai...and then further making out the most of it.
It is quite true that if the teachers beat a student then the student does not hold his hand because the teacher is not a father and that could be seen in many of the schools these days but the only soothing personality in the School which was from another book of thoughts which was G.G.P.S was certainly Mrs. Urvashi Talwar who stood out through the thick and thins when people like Mr. Madan and Mr. Ashutosh were creating havoc on me by beating me black and blues just in the name of maths and accounts which was certainly not my favorite subjects.
To sum it up on the eve of Teacher's Day which is celebrated in the name of the biggest teacher or scholar of India Dr. Sarvapali Radhakrishnan, I give my true respect to all those teachers including Mr. Verghese and Mr. Thomas from G.G.P.S along with all those whose names are mentioned above and those whose names are not mentioned including few of the friends who acted more or less like teachers such as Mr. Sudhir Kumar, Mr. Shinto Augustine, Mr. Nitin along with Mr. Ritesh and Mr. Praveen and thankfully not Miss Akansha Anupam who was a virtual headache as the heart was always afraid that maybe in the parents-teacher meeting organized after every three months without doing anything wrong in Class Room or outside my father may be misguided and it could lead to getting me expelled from the school.
Certainly, my mother Mrs. Kiran Bala Devi always stood behind me as she is the biggest educationist in my life and so is my father Mr. Upendra Vidyarthi, who use to smoke and I whenever asked him when will you leave smoking the plain reply was when you will come first in the classroom and I knew his love towards smoking which never allowed me to come first in the class which is the biggest excuse of my life to be a mediocre even after passing out M.A. in Sociology from Bharati Vidyapeeth and trying to do Ph.D. soon which will be the last Degree to be earned in life.
