When it comes to technical studies or E-learning along with the education from K.G. to board exams. One finds the significance of internet, these days. With E-chaupal and E-Governance becoming the backbone of he society-it makes sense that our young students should understand the value of E-Commerce.
Yesterday, while going through News report, I was happy to see that the students are downloading multiple pie-charts and graphic diagrams from the internet. It shows the initiative taken by our teachers who are making every one a child prodigy.
During, our school days we did not have the facility of internet being widespread to our cities and villages. Most of us use to go through books like India Today, Dharamyug and Saptahik Hindustan to enhance our knowledge about the then happening going around the world.
When, I was listening Mr. Modi's interview in "Zee News" the word which strike in mind was the "Who's-Who". We use to learn the name of the premier of every country along with the Ministers who were in the different departments of the Indian Government.
That was just for a 2 marks questions in our Social Studies Exams and the entire book was thoroughly preserved in mind. It use to happen with the students who were born and bought up in the era when teacher use to segregate between "Bookish Knowledge and the General Knowledge."
Gradually, once we reached Class V our School "Holy Cross", took the first step in Bokaro Steel City, towards Computer Education. We got introduced to COBOL i.e Common Business Oriented language, Binary Numbers and many other theories. Also, we come to know that India has already made Super Computer by the name of "Param". Although, once we grew up all, these old "Charles Babbage style" (With no offence to Father of Computer) computer Studies got over, as the World started moving at a very fast pace.
Now, talking about the use of Google, it's a privilege of students who get the internet. With ITC, which has introduced E-choupal a great initiative, across the villages of India. It shows that the corporates who have a rich culture and want to serve the nation come-up with such initiatives to get near the villages.
If one goes through this link from Youth Ki Awaaz: (https://www.youthkiawaaz.com/2011/08/itc-e-choupal-empowering-rural-india-research/) one will find that the students along with their parents get easy access to internet.
Giving, details about every small things related to any happening from the history or the science, is impossible these days without the help of Google. Also, spending time over the internet to get good knowledge can only be possible, when our students learn it the way the World is learning.
One must have heard about Imran Khan, the "Sultan of Swing" from Pakistan, but lesser people must have heard about Imran Khan. the web developer from Alwar Rajasthan. He is the real "Milk Cake", who took initiative to bring out student app. It was followed by BYJU'S in which one could see our "King Khan" explaining the details from Maths to various other subjects to children.
Since, most of us these days have the advantage of Google, it's the perfect time to use "Googly to bowl out opposition". It can be any dragon economics or the foolish rocket launchers across the borders who are lagging behind millions of light years.
So, before this 26th January comes we should become a Republic which is on the broad shoulders of our students who should not jump into politics, but try to build their culture revolving around internet for great days ahead.
