With the valentine day coming up in the next month, and the weather in the Northern hemisphere turning out to be of extreme cold to somewhat warm in some places-people love to get cosy with their partners. If we talk about our own country India, it has diverse weather conditions. One goes towards extreme North it's snowing heavily in Kashmir at the same time a comfortable weather in Jammu. Now, talking about Punjab, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana it is basking in the glory of the Lohri along with Uttarayan Sun which falls a day after on Makar Sankranti. A perfect weather to get cosy along the firewood and celebrate with groundnut and Gajak.
Talking about Saurashtra or Gujarat region the weather is extremely beautiful with the night getting cold and the early morning being cold when you feel the shivers and the jitters. with the Uttarayan festival and people getting ready for patangbazzi its the fervour of the season. Also, the same weather condition could be seen in Maharashtra along with the down South known for its calm weather with neither too hot nor too cold and celebrating Pongal with great fan and fervour which extends till Chennai. Thankfully our country has been bestowed with different weather conditions for different region and U.P which is known for the extreme cold along with Uttarakhand is somehow getting a fog free weather this year around and are going to celebrate Makar Sankranti or Khichdi.
Also, not to forget the North-East which is blessed with great flora and fauna where the people of North-East celebrate Bihu in Assam and the entire region resonates with the bamboo dance and other traditional dance forms. so, it clearly shows that our country celebrates the harvesting festival giving tribute to the farming community for a great harvesting season. The only thing is that the celebration is done in different name and in different style.
In the same manner a person in terms of Male and Female have love for each other. It makes sense that both the feminine and the masculine nature in humans should have respect for each other and it leads to love. It's necessary to have respect for each other so that one should get a good offspring in terms of our future generations. It is not necessary to have multiple sex partners or to have too much of sex in mind which leads to all kinds of frustration and also a bad change in the weather pattern.
I would like to cite an example from the American National Library of Medicine through their link (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2790098/) to state that always thinking about sex or using sexually abusive word leads to a polluted mind and both the genders do suffer from it. So, its good that if in any case a person is talking on some serious thoughts about his profession at that time the person on the other end should give respect and has enough dignity to talk in a positive manner without sexual intentions.
It is easy to say that I was judging on terms of talks and behaviour patterns whether the person can stand out any threat in the future. In this age of Digital technology every person record is secure with the Government from his behaviour, education and every other aspect. So, it goes both ways i.e. for both the genders that they should be respectful to each other. After, all every love or affection is not necessary to end on bed. Sometimes, the love starts from eyes or even through talks and end for mutual admiration for each other which lasts for long.
I would like to give three examples from my recent trip to Cambodia. I got short of money and my Credit card also got over. the only option for me was to spend time at Airports, on roads or any other such places where I could have not been taken into some wrong hands. So, the safest place was either the Indian Embassy at times, immigration office at other times and also sometimes at hotels. ( If there was some beautiful lady who could be wooed with sweet and soft talks, which is very difficult as the women are more money minded these days in every part of the world)
I was at the airport and my flight was after Christmas. I did not had enough money and although I was not feeling starved but was hungry. Since, did not believe in Beg, borrow or steal I tried my best to curb hunger. After, few days of Hunger I went to "Blue Pumpkins"-A French restaurant at the Penom Pneh Airport and said that I don't have money still can you help me with food. Although my style of asking food was not of the typical Bollywood style where a person says "Mai-Baap bahut bhukh lagi hai, 3 din se kuch khaya nahi hai". But it was more of an authoritarian style and to my surprise, when I got food not once but twice through the Restaurant Girls and also by an Intern Executive at the Airport. Nobody, laughed at me but were generous in feeding me. I thanked them and my confidence was growing, getting more bolder. wittier and also becoming "International Bhikhari" in style rather becoming "International Khiladi" .
I never tried to become a pole dancer in some raunchy clubs but ask the hotel owners that I can mop the floor or wash the dish for the good 15 days after 11th December as my Ticket was only by the end of the month. Also, whenever I got a little whiff that my passport could be stolen or could not be given back I immediately use to leave the hotel without any brawl and clearly told that my card has run out of money. Mind it at such places the night stay was for less than 1 day so that I don't end up into being captive- just a night stay or three hours in some dormitory style hotels which are less than $3 per bed for 24 hours.
So, somehow spending my time I would like to inform that I never cried before the Indian High Commission that I am hungry but fortunately they tried their best to get Visa for Singapore Embassy in Cambodia. I was denied the Visa or one can say that I was not fortunate enough as they said that the authorities are more strict their and you have to show enough funds for another 10-15 days in Singapore. My reservation for return to India was on 5th of January by Jet Airways which I have booked on my own.
The second beautiful instance was by a pretty little girl and a small handsome boy who were generous enough for me to feed me with Chicken wings and Mutton. Both were less than 18 years of age and although we were not able to communicate since I did not knew Khmer language which is the local language, but the girl was fluent in English and it was easy for me to communicate with her. Both were very friendly, I asked them whether I could spend night at the bus stop which they clearly denied and said at night places at the stretch far from city get infested by all kinds of shoddy people who could loot you or even murder you without provocation.
Still, there was not an iota of fear in mind and I generally use to spend my nights on road with my entire luggage in tow which was full of clothes. Now, the good thing is that there are general stores through-out Phenom Penh which are open 24 by 7 with free Wi-Fi. My HP Laptop was always with me, I tried my best to get in touch with my mother just to know her well being. I knew that monetary help was difficult to sought from her as she is 62 years of age and rarely visit bank without my help.
As, my Cambodian Visa was about to get over on 28th before the fall of midnight I tried to contact my best friend from Bokaro steel City whose name is Sajit B.Nair. I told him that I am losing all my hopes and only a day is left. Meanwhile, need not mention till now but the entire Zee Media along with Sumit Awasthi, Sir, who is from the "Hum to Puchenge" fame was getting the details through their correspondent as I use to Tweet them on regular basis. They took my I.P. address through the tweets and as soon as I use to open the laptop they use to map my location, asked about my well being and use to see me through the Video surveillance techniques in Laptop.
My friend( Sajit) confirmed about my whereabouts from Sumit Awasthi Sir and immediately send me the ticket of Malindo Airlines. The entire Zee Media time from Rubika Liyaqat, Mimansa Malik, Miss Kurdesia and Mr. Vidyanath Jha completely use to know about my whereabouts. Its not necessary that every-time God will come to help you out when you are in lurch outside the country. But, our media plays an important role ( At the same time I never asked them for Food, money or shelter and neither the Air-tickets).
I did not took the help of any radical group or religious group and not even the Government to be precise. Although the Ministry of External Affairs was always in touch of the Indian Embassy and the Government was certainly keeping an eye on me only for my security. At, the same time there was always prayer on my lips. I used to thank the Sun God, the Mekong river, the common people and the nature along with the people of Cambodia. Also, the police from Cambodia and the airport authority helped me only when I got the valid ticket as my Ticket from Silk air to Singapore via Cambodia got invalid as the Singapore visa got expired. The only good thing is that I had in mind that anyhow I will come back. I was smart enough to understand that if the Cambodian Visa gets expired then I will have no other way in life to get back to my homeland.
With Waheguru on my lips and also the Gita and other religious book with me I have full faith that everything will fall straight before Visa expires. I also heard that The Tri-Dev of Indian Film industry with Sir Shahrukh Khan, Salman and Aamir Sir use to talk good words about me through various advertisements. This created a positive effect on the people of Cambodia as there is a great fan following of the actors from India.
My mother Kiran Bala Devi was constantly in touch with my friends in my society whom I use to send e-mails and also with Sajit. I felt relieved once I boarded the flight and once I reached I.G.I airport I went on foot to the Moti Bagh Gurudwara. the entire stretch I covered on foot from 8:00 P.M and reach their by 10:00 P.M. After, the prayer I was provided with Langar and then I thanked the God there for my safe and secure return to my nation. I took a D.T.C Bus and they did not asked for money. Also, the auto driver which took me from Anand Vihar to my home waited for few minutes as I took money from my Mother and paid it to him.
The only thing which has given me respect outside the country was that I never tried to malign the image of my country, neither my national flag nor the flag of any other nation which use to fly daily at The Mekong's river front. Also, I never showed any disrespect towards the common people of Cambodia whether it was any boy, girl, women or men. I played Bollywood chartbusters for them at the Airport and to my surprise people around the world across all ages still remember Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor and the likes of Amitabh Jee. Not to forget our beautiful heroines who have a great fan following in the ASEAN region.
With the great festival of Lohri going on I would like to state that, I am neither a political bigwig not a social activist and neither have any army or police background. Not even one can say that I am related to any media house or film industry. The only thing which I can say is that I love observing people, understand their mindset, do not get into brawls unnecessarily, understand the dignity of love, avoid sex with or without reason and has given The NET-November 2017 Exam which result is awaited through the Sociology Subject as I am a proud M.A. in Sociology from Bharati Vidyapeeth"
