.In the recent elections which went over in Gujarat there was an upsurge of the new crop of politicians. Likes, of Jignesh Mewani, Harshit Patel and Alpesh Thakore took to a lone strategy of Modi bashing. They come up with every chinks in the armour and tried to pull down the erstwhile Modi Government.
With, the mass effect moving towards Modi as his development model stood out against every other war of words the BJP was victorious. Now, if we look into the three leaders and their respective community belongings a little descriptive analysis needs to be done:
Jignesh Mewani: Jignesh Mewani belongs to the Dalit community which is no more a downtrodden community. With, the change in the mindsets they have emerged as the main middle class and form an important section of the Indian society. Gone are those days when the Dalit were not given any importance. Whether, it is the Government sector or the Private sector they have placed them at higher pedestals. They have certainly come out of the tag Harijan and their children have proved themselves in various fields. The conclusion is that they are least bothered about running behind a dalit leader but look for the party and the person who could think for the well being of the country. One could say them the true son of soil from this country.
Harshit Patel: When it comes to Harshit Patel, he is one of the leader who looks promising and has shown some mettle. He almost tried to lift the congress and to some extent he was successful by providing n good platform as Congress emerged to be the second largest party in the state. Harshit Patel is known as a good leader who has great social presence in the pattidar community. He tries to pull out himself from any controversies and maintains the social dignity which gives him a beyond doubt recognition.
Alpesh Thakore: One could see that Alpesh Thakore champions the cause of the Thakore community which is one of the main OBC Community in the Gujarat Politics. Although, his name is not taken as a political bigwig but in the times to come, he may emerge as a good political leader. With his simple looks and presence among his community he can be one of the table turner of Indian politics.
Now, writing about these three young political leaders, I would not say that entering politics for today's youth is a great option. One could remember Kanhaiya Kumar, who has been monkeying around at any political discussions. With, JNU becoming only a University with anti-India thoughts and giving no great politicians, the youth should look for more constructive ways of work like business, getting into stable jobs or sports which is emerging as one of the prime growth factor.
Also, with high regards towards the then Youth Icon Miss Shobha De, the two minutes fame given to the likes of Jignesh Mewani and considering him as the "Man of the Moment" will not uplift him in the eyes of his local community. Also, giving provocative statement by saying that the people should stand behind the judges who were trying to give a bad image of our country judiciary will not help you in your "Page 3" parties.
Remember that "downtrodden looks for two minutes fame while the uplifted person treads alone towards the path of success"!
