Bhoodan Movement: Trash course by Indian Leaders

Indian leaders has been long known for putting their economy in the state of haphazard and running towards west for asking monetary allowances. They have seriously adapted the principle of Buddha in their life. Whether, meditation works or not but begging is the option which is always open.

Comparing our nation with other countries in ASEAN, one finds that if we do not talk about Pakistan, then even SriLanka and Bangladesh with its economic reforms and better foreign policy stands out to get ahead. in the time to come.

Singapore, after China deciding to give economic aid to Sri Lanka in their various projects give a great understanding between the two nations. The major economic superpower has understood that since they have become a country to be known with an economy which is good and Singaporean Dollar, fairing well, giving them enough possible ways to invest with the friendly nations.

Talking about the "Bhoodan Movement", which was a social movement, across India by "Vinoba Bhave". The person gained a great status in the books of history and was termed as great social reformer.  When one talks about the statistical figure it shows that "Bhoodan Movement" has given due importance only by the people who has been known to be educated since ages.

The Jamindari system which was primarily called Samanti system in Bengal, took a great turn when the "BhadraManush" dedicated their entire lands just by the name of social reforms. Similarly, people from Kerela, the state with the highest literacy rate is said to give back the land to the tillers.

With, Nitish Kumar from an Agrarian background, it could have made sense if he took the land ceilings and reforms in a better manner. When, one talks about the "Naxalbari Movement", it took an ugly turn and is spreading throughout Bihar and some parts of Jharkhand. Still comparatively Jharkhand has a better infrastructure and also the per capita income always turns out to be ahead of Bihar.

I am never a promoter of the "Naxalbari Movement" but the root cause of it is the massive poverty and the oppression of people, who do not have enough to feed their children. If one goes through a Movie by the name of Mountain Man- Dasrath Manjhi, character played by Mr. Nawazuddin Siddique, one will find the kind of atrocities which has been done on the lower strata people.

It's a pity that we are trying to boost the economy but hiding the facts and figures in terms of showing the real statistics to the world. Surprisingly, they know more about us these days and for them it is just "Ignorance is the Bliss" mantra. They, laugh on all kinds of rhetoric by our leaders and certain sections of Media.

So, if one boast about our past, one could see that people from Bihar are engulfed into a vicious circle of poverty. It can never get over unless there is a serious social reform. The political leaders who are originally from the roots of Bihar, should come up like "Babu Jagjivan Ram" who went above caste based politics to uplift all sections of society.
