Indian Athletes could not compete within the Olympic Standards!

The Indian Cricket which was a few years back talk of every nook and corner since Dhoni men had lifted the World Cup in 2011 is seen to be less of takers these days. The U-19 Cricket which has got a defeat by Bangladesh could be one of the few of the biggest ones as India was said to be the nursery of the Cricket and a great place for the future tours program. On the contrary, what one could see is that Football Fever is catching up and people are certainly getting crazy for these sports which have more athletic stamina involved in it.
If anybody will ask a Cricketer he will certainly say that apart from all the hip and hoopla attached to it he certainly has many of the dull moments on the field where either the batsmen do not get out or the bowler takes to the delivery with full of the vigor for the first five overs of his spell and after the last 7 0vers are left he is hammered all over the park which takes away the sheen out of his average. Now, getting back to the athlete where the Olympics 2020 in Japan is concerned much of the Indian athletes could not compete within the Olympic standards. On the contrary, the Olympics arena is such a place where the age does not matter but what is the matter of concern is your own ability to qualify and set your personal records along with the records for the nation which you are representing.
In this way, one could think that what stops the people to qualify for the event as the qualification standards are not that stringent but if we see people from various villages and towns along with cities the students are seen trudging all along with the cricket kit bag to different centers.
If we see the only player who is considered to be into the world level from Cricket is Virat Kohli who carries the tag of 83rd Highest paid Sports personality while the top 100 are flanked by either football or Soccer along with basketball and various other sports. If the details are to be asked then one could see the Forbes list which could be found here:

Now, thinking about the same thought once the countries like Nepal and other smaller nation will enter into Cricket as ICC is expanding its nest to various other countries and the upcoming Cricket World Cup in 2023 which will see India hosting it will be the tournament with the first familiar absentees in stadiums. It is not wild guess as people will be likely to get involved in much of the active sports. Only a few famous matches will see as the crowd pullers and with the possibility of India entering into the Football World Cup by 2026 the Cricket will see much as the dwindling career and once people will get inclined towards football they will see the improvement in athletics of all form including race events of competitive form which will see much of the inclusion of athletic skills getting back to the mindset!
