Today I will start the Blog with the headline only which states that "Once upon a time in India-Talent was rare, employment for few" must be the apt thought for those people who use to have very bigger degrees but still they could not fetch a good job. Although, that was the time during the '80s when Multinationals were not allowed and the country was on the brink of one of the major economic slowdowns. The people were only opting for the jobs in Maharatna such as SAIL, BHEL & GAIL or else you are lol i.e nothing.
If during that scenario somebody would have said ki thoda tel to lagana parta hai, that is a little bit of oiling makes sense then anybody could have believed. But now, if the same adage is to be heard then one has to feel ashamed about the women on the other end of the phone as she believes that reaching a post of HR Manager makes her a way to ask for executives sex slavery. Such, a person then gets into a masseur profession and thankfully the company gets rid of such manager at the earliest.
Now, the other thing is that with the people getting into any particular domain and maybe surpassing you immediately it is very much necessary to change your trade unless you are a shopkeeper. The fact of the matter is that if you are into Marketing then not only think about being the hardcore marketing executive but get diversified and learn more tricks such as e-mail marketing or better terms of "Digital marketing".
This theory is not mine but it was told to me by a person whose name id Shri Kumar Basant alumni of IIPM, Katwaria Sarai, New Delhi as we both were working as Sales Executive at Shelters under Mr. Anurrag Grover. Once we were away from each other as I was getting towards the call center industry and then while keeping an eye on my profession I deeply got into studies.
These are few certifications in life:
- I completed My Class XII in the year 2006. ( C.B.S.E Open)
- I completed my BBA in the year 2011-12 ( In-between I spend some 4-5 years working in the various call centers whether small, medium or large into Outbound call centers)
- I joined IEnergizer and IBM for 5 years into International Inbound Customer Service which needs good English skills.
- I also completed my Diploma in Web Designing 6 month Certification
- I also completed my Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from NIIT Imperia in 2014
- I finally completed my M.A. in Sociology in the Summer of 2017.
- Finally, I also went for NET Exams Sociology for Assistant Professor but failed with less percentage.
- Now, planning for Ph.D. again as I have given exams for Ph.D. at Punjab University, Chandigarh and got rejected.
- I further tried to give an exam at Christ University, Bengaluru but will try twice.
- In between, I have been continuously working since the year 2002 into marketing, customer service representative and further into Digital Marketing as Content Writer.
- So, it makes full 19 years of Continuous struggle without any big backing but only a few friends and managers along with my mother and father.
Although, when we see the educated people not getting a job these days much of the reason is the gatekeeper who is the security guards from Bihar and U.P. who are somehow either with the nexus of Job mafia who is suddenly creeping into the private job system as well. With few women or men who are into a different mode of carrying their own people and the other with a grudge for many particular students who they carry for a long time in life, the deserving people are out of many industries.
So, it is all about getting into the skin of things without thinking otherwise and then pull out the best of the results as remember after few years Instagram will also die as people will get bored and all these modeling aspects of showing the flesh and getting bucks out of it will take the back door exit and with the good news that India is going to take the 7% growth rate sooner or later the odd people running helter-skelter will move away and also Bollywood will chart its own phase of getting digitalized and people will be seen working through animation and only token amount will be served.
So, the sooner the generation from the 1990s and the above years could understand the better for them as everybody cannot get into becoming a bus driver or conductor and once the flash will be over the food will be rare for them!
P.S: In between, I also completed GRE, General Aptitude Test on 21 November 2018 and got a good passing grade and Toefl in October 2018 and also completed the test and Interview and secured good marks from British Council, Connaught Place. I also have the certification for both which I submitted at Arizona University with 72 USD which is equivalent to INR 5400 and send papers through DHL but unfortunately did not get selected for Ph.D. in Sociology.
