Expectations by parents do not leave till old age in life

Indian parents never grow old in life. They, themselves are easy with the world but when it comes to their children they try to be overprotective and a little bit of love interest by their children is carefully watched by them. It is easy to say that they are trying to grow within you and understanding the world through your eyes. This is something which is easy to say by the overprotective societal norms which try to keep the interest of the old age people upfront and any word by them about their children almost is understood as a verdict.

It is a good way to give respect to the parents but with the growth of the society one understands that they themselves try to show openness in their culture and with the age bracket of 65 and above try to remind their old heroics comes a natural way of understanding how good their life would have been when there was less of pollution and poverty. Also, there was nothing called social disrespect towards older girls who use to roam freely in groups and enjoyed their outing on cycles.

If we remember the era of Nutan Ji, Waheeda Rehman, and many other starlets like Asha Parekh Ji much of their songs were enjoying the countryside by cycling. The songs like Pukarta Chala Hoon main and in the not so far movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak...if we remember the song Ae mere Humsafar..Ek Jara Intezaar...which was Juhi Chawala Ji riding the bicycle it showed the camaraderie and solidarity of the girl gangs to enjoy together in life and come out as a pure fashionista with no words called Afraid or feeling Danger for any issue in life.

With much of the rape and the veil of cloud in life coming in the form of heavy competition in the office premises and the fairer sex taking all the advantage to get their boss attention led to many social issues. The cut-throat competition did not leave anything to be good in life and it leads to many social problems which finally resorted to mental illness.

Much of the children who were devoid of love were the older ones in the home, whom actually the world thought that they are good enough to take care of themselves while the younger ones attracted all the attention in life from getting love to less of scolding. It bought a different kind of pressure which can be termed as loneliness which has various side effects leading to accidental death along with suicide being the common factor.

The easy way to understand is that such children start treating themselves with drugs even if they belong to a respectable family. It can also be said that the family pressure of getting everything from the person who wishes to give the best to their parents and siblings took an ugly turn where the Girl child or the Boy child when grow and get kickstart in career get the thinking in negative and the question pops up that till what time I will be paying for all your happiness and keep my own thoughts at bay....???

The simple reply comes is that till death do us apart...in this way the person has to understand the basic story of Shravan Kumar, from the time of Ramayana where the man in the child or the child in man takes the responsibility of taking the old age blind parents to every place of pilgrimage and when the time comes to provide water to the father and mother as they were filling thirsty he finally has to face the accidental death by the King Dasrath who hit him with the arrow and unfortunately his life comes to an end.

The song in  "Mother India"- Duniya mai hum ayee hai to jeena hi parega..jivan hai agar jehar to peena hi parega is not for the parents but it is actually for the children portraying that you have to bear the beauty of being the male child and it actually resorts to the girl child also that if you take the responsibility of your parents then come what may, you have to help them in life as their expectations never die in life.

So, it is equally good for a person to either not take any responsibility of raising a family till he is India and do a lot more to the parents as it will be the real blessings. If he is raising a family then he should take time for his own to enjoy his life in his own ways by either joining any sports or  through the way which a person likes in terms of having a healthy affair which does not put any unnecessary pressure of social obligations and neither hunt or haunt you for any money or personal needs in life.
