Police needs to get more respect from us as Indian Citizens

As Indian citizens, we have been taught to respect Indian Flag and Constitution along with national emblem which we remember but in school, we have been also taught to give respect to the pillars of democracy in which Police comes first. If I say that most of us do not reside at border areas as our country shares, not more of Border areas rather than China, Pakistan and Bangladesh along with Nepal and Bhutan which are countries mostly peaceful.

The city has seen lots of influence in terms of people growing in every field whether it is business or marketing along with the jobs in which majority of the people are into either Government or private jobs. The metro city which has been one of the places where people come from all walks of life such as the hardworking peasants, the community dwellers who reside at various places and also those who are staying at places which become a minefield after some years of spending with each other because of the generation gap and their own frustration such as skyscrapers where everyone feels as if they are born out of a James Bond Movie and thus wait for overpowering each other with or without reasons.

In this way, the various disputes go out of the way and then the time comes to Dial 100 for Police. Most of the people who have got in touch with Police have a very good experience as at least their city Police always stands by them apart from little issues were the only reason maybe your own blunt behavior which is either seen in the women folks or those people who have lots of faith on their money as they know the value of splurging without reason. Gone are those days when people use to give a small amount of money to the policeman and the issues get resolved.

Now the Police at every state in India has become hi-tech and they keep the track record of every individual and thus lately or off lately the various crime reports get resolved although it may not become a part of the news or the cover story. It can be called that if you are a law-abiding citizen then Police comes forward in one or the other way and help you out as Police know hot to pull out the Criminals and thus Criminals gets afraid from Honest and brave Police officers.

So, to conclude Police needs to get more respect from us as Indian citizens because at any time you should know that police is connected to every stratum of society and one has to think that if we will observe their way of working sometimes they have to spend more than 24 hours on duty and without leave for many days. So, it is always good to make them feel good about their work and the respect should be in the eyes or deeds and it is not necessary that if you are passing through them then start saluting them as it is the privilege of only a few people who know how to salute a Policeman or a Police Girl!!!
