Mother's day bring lots of sweet memories to many of the people and certainly bring changes as a grown-up kid. As a Child born in the year 1979 there was no such celebration as we did not even celebrate Valentine's day lest not to talk about Mother's day.
Now after the year 1995, these special days were known to us and we still shied away from such thoughts. If I talk about mother's day celebration it is a greeting to my mother and few near and dear ones who have played as a friend as dear as a mother.
The role of my mother remained very positive in my life as spite of all my failures my mother Kiran Bala Devi stood through thick and thins to help me with my growth in life. Whether the various setbacks in life from failures in studies for a small time duration or supporting through pep talks when I was coping with job and studies running together on parallel ways and coming out trumps at it.
With the sad demise of my sister in the year 2004 and my father expiring during the year 2009 the two severe back to back blows was not easy for me to handle. Although my family was a small one with the father working at Bokaro Steel Plant, I used to stay at New Delhi since the year 2000 on the pretext of studies and jobs.
After my father's death as mentioned earlier, I asked my mother to accompany me at New Delhi and soon invested into my own house at Ajnara Integrity which was the wish of my father to have a home at NCR. During the time while the home was under construction my mother helped me with timely food and helped me to grow in the study front by various short-term courses such as Web designing and the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing along with the best which was Post Graduation in Sociology from Bharati Vidyapeeth, SDL, Pune.
These all development on my study front along with my career could have never happened without the help of my mother who really valued education and taught me that to grow in life one has to carry on with the education while keeping an eye on the career path.
My mother who sometimes becomes strict and sometimes behaves with a fun loving approach helped me with better investment thoughts as the money which was of the earnings of my father was invested in a better way to buy a home and further investment.
She could be called captain courageous as without her help I would have not got any growth in life and the somewhat harsh behavior of people at NCR was difficult for me to cope and with her presence things along with views of people have changed as this city never loves a single person as a tenant or either if he or she has his own home. She stands behind my every decision and because of her help, I could visit Singapore and Cambodia.
Now with a wish to look forward to an ideal bride for my home which is fully paid through the loan completion and a small car which is Alto K10 I believe that my mother's wish will soon be fulfilled as mother nature also stands with us. So, it can be rightly said that with every passing mother's day this minnow who is Mukesh Kumar is turning into a giant at least in his own thoughts and will succeed in life at every step!!!
